I just arrived home this week from a business trip to Hong Kong. It was an eventful trip in more ways than one. What I want to share with everyone is something that happened to me that has never happened before. I lost my wallet! Or more accurately, my wallet was stolen. Being in a foreign country with no wallet is a little disconcerting to say the least.

Quite often as I move around the country I'm asked by customers and prospective customers what product can they get the biggest bang for their buck? Or they might say, "Steve what type of swag will work best for me?" This can be a complicated answer. We have litterly 1,000's of different products for companies to use as business gifts, promotional items, employee recognition, product launches, corporate uniforms or just overall branding initiatives.

During the past few months Talbot Marketing has invested heavily in state of the art computer technology to enhance your experience with Talbot. As with any technology, ours will be work in process. We have a 3 phase implementation schedule with our new internal ERP system. Phase one, started this past March with our London support staff going on-line with a new sequel based (SQL) system.
Over the past few months you may have had your Talbot Sales Associate talking to you about significant price increases that we are anticipating in the very near future. We are hearing increases anywhere from 10 to 30%. There are a variety of reasons for such hefty increases. One supplier put it to me this way, "its a perfect storm".
